Watching Supernatural on a Friday afternoon with my class of 9th graders
(who last period on a Friday are usually climbing the walls with
rattiness) and having them laugh, and scream and awww over the
Winchesters, then having brilliant discussions about Sam and Dean, the
nature of faith, why humans are scarier than demons, the responsibility
felt by the older siblings, if violence always is the Winchester’s only
solution, why Dean is an awesome big brother and the ethics of breaking
laws to save people. Having a class of thirty odd 13 and 14 year olds
all absolutely invested in how Sam and Dean’s story turns out is just
magic. I love my job.

Other things what make me smile...

Posting this here because Jared makes me smile big time. Via sammyjared's tumblr.

This man makes me smile on so many levels, his sheer love of life, his never ending curiosity about the world, his compassion and his boundless energy. A confidence to be himself no matter how goofy or ridiculous, just watching him at work or play or just talking I could be entertained for hours. Thanks Jared for the smiles you may never know you elicit.

Okay first can I just say January 6th seems like a long way away. Hellatus indeed. Must start locking down dates for season rewatches to get me through. If anyone wants to join me let me know...I am exactly 8 working days away from 13 and half months of holidays so I am pretty flexible with dates. ;-)

Jim Beaver must totally love this show for the huge range of acting demands it's made on him. Must make his work very interesting.

Ok my reaction - I'm eternally grateful for the Sam and Dean moments of brother bickering that saved this whole episode from being a horribly intensely sad and dark emo trip. It reminded me of the Chuck narrated Impala story moments in Swan Song - these scenes just let me take a deep breath and compose myself, gave me the fortitude to brace for a possible Bobby death scene. It's funny on a show like Supernatural you think you'd become inured to deaths of beloved characters because hey! It's Supernatural and they always come back so really there's no reason you should get all sentimental and maudlin about a death or two of 'family'. Every time though this show has been very clever in it's portrayal of such events - more canny than even the best life insurance ads so in inevitably such scenes always elicit ALL the feelings and a tear or two. I sincerely hope Bobby doesn't die and I have no idea if he does or not (and am quite happy to stay ignorant on that front) I think the boys have enough to deal with.

I did like very much how we got to see more of the role Bobby has had with the boys from a young age and we definitely got some insight into his own personal history as well which is always kind of fulfilling - fleshes a character out even more for you. And bringing Rufus back was a stellar move - the dialogue between him and Bobby was very entertaining.

Thats it really - in a nutshell. Jared and Jensen absolutely brilliant in their scenes of grief and hanging by a thread on news. And I really had to wonder - do organ donations people really talk that early to people with family in that situation? I was a little gobsmacked. But maybe that does happen...to be quite honest I'm surprised Dean let the guy walk away under his own steam - our Dean is definitely showing more restraint in his old age. :)

I'm backing Sammy on this one but you stick to your guns Dean - you have adorable delusions and we love watching you and Sammy bicker about pop culture. Makes our day. So please...CARRY ON. :)

ETA: Would it look like favouritism if I was to also vouch for peanut butter and banana sandwiches over licorice? Because seriously? I'd take them any day over licorice - chewy pieces of heaven indeed, sometimes I worry about the refinement of Dean's palette or lack thereof.

So I am watching 7.10 (and all those important to me here in LJ would have watched by now)

And at first I am all

Then at the end of it I am all

They're not actually gonna REALLY LIKE KILL Bobby right?.....Nahhhh of course not.

So then I am

Nahhh course not....see no dead body, question unanswered, all is good, just some Kleenex tissue moments.

Then I get back on my LJ flist, my twitter feed, my tumblr dashboard and I start to read and all of a sudden I am like

And then...

And now I am COMPLETELY all....

And now I don't know what to think. I was thinking they totally left it open, but so many are already writing Bobby's epitaph so now I'm confused!!!!

Uncle Bobby is still around right???? WAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am totally with Dean on this one....

There is no arguing with such conviction and so ... I won't. I confess to often wanting to pat Dean on the back when he voices such unrealistic assertions and saying "Why of course Dean, just you saying it in a forceful manner makes it so" and being amused at his stubborn, pigheaded ways but for now this characteristic of his? Suits me to a tee and I'm using it!  Of course I will enage in what will probably be endlessly entertaining back and forth discussions with fellow fans about the veracity of such claims but indeed we have four weeks till the next new episode and now we have a rich and controversial topic to discuss. A: Is Bobby really dead? And B: if so WHY did the writers do this? See now my answer is simple, A is NO and therefore B is unnecessary. Tadaaa!

Btw I reserve the right to be with Dean only on some matters that are pertinent to me being less traumatised by show (ie NOT killing Bobby off) in the matters of Chuck Norris Vs Jet Li or Licorice Vs PB and Banana sandwiches I feel equally entitled to switch allegiance at the drop of a hat to Sam. Therefore in all honesty perhaps I cannot label myself as either a Sam or a Dean girl since really I am a fickle and mercurial female who loves them both far too much. And it turns out I love Bobby far too much as well. Goddamn you Supernatural and your wickedly evil, manipulating ways, this level of investment is just far too ridiculous!

Right in the middle of it. It's like freaking storm weather outside...and yet yesterday it was a stinking 102F (aka 39C) and super hot with not a breeze and now today constant rain, blowing a gale, possible hail storm to follow the voluminous thunderbolts and lightning we've had so far. Good times.

On the upside they cancelled the informal parent/teacher night on account of the weather (personally I just think the Principal wanted to get her car under cover before the hail hits) which means I can go to my agility dog club Christmas wind up tonight, which is undercover and filled with hilarious Christmas themed games for the dogs and handlers, good food and awards night where I get to see one of my students get her accolades for her progress this year.

I am only 6 teaching days away from 13 months of holidays. 13 MONTHS people. Just typing that blows my mind. I cannot wait to get it started.

I have discovered today that fangirls have nothing on a classroom full of 14 year olds who are completely addicted to the first season of Supernatural. Today we got up to Salvation - the second last episode of Season 1. They were all completely enthralled by it, you could have heard a pin drop and god help any poor student messnger trying to knock on the door to give me a message and interrupt the lesson. You know the episode, the one that ends with Meg's phone call to Dean saying she has their Dad and then finishes with TO BE CONTINUED...? I was going to finish the lesson up there today and have a discussion but apparently I would have been lynched. I was very vocally and very loudly protested at - there was going to be full on temper tantrums, feet stamping, desk banging and a riot of extremely loud volume should I not press play on Devil's Trap. I decided to have a show of diplomacy and put it to them that even if I did press play we'd have to stop like 12 minutes in as the bell for the end of day was going. So hands up all those who want to keep watching? Every single hand went up. So we started Devil's Trap. And by god are they pissed that I don't actually have them tomorrow and they have to wait till Thursday to watch it (although a number of them said they would be going home to Youtube it!). I just find it so deeply satisfying that I have an entire class just so engaged in their learning right now - I mean sure I have a fantastic vehicle to grab their attention but to know that this is so closely linked with the skills they are working on for English is so deeply energising and inspiring. I know I'm about to have 13 months off but I will be so looking forward to coming back.

Speaking of coming back - I hear Misha is going to be back. I've always assumed Castiel wasn't finished. Much like Bobby. It's going to be a fantastic second half to Season 7 I reckon. 23 episodes to boot...can't wait to see what happens. What shall I be doing in Hellatus? Rewatching last five eps of S7, rewatching early seasons with friends, finishing the latest Sons of Anarchy season and possibly trying out Homeland - I've heard good things. Plus Dexter, Grimm, The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, House, Community, Modern Family, American Horror Story oh and hey isn't Sherlock back soon? Should keep me out of trouble.

How long til Game of Thrones starts again anyway...

Spoilers for Dexter 6.11 Talk to the Hand

They actually went there in Dexter tonight. Like full on depiction of a brother sister relationship. Albeit in Deb's fantasies but still. It was on the screen, I was watching it happen and thinking wow. And then my mind was all over the way this could play out in Supernatural. But it's different isn't it because Dexter is adopted. Not a blood relation so in society probably not as frowned upon. It's an interesting angle - I didn't think they would ever take that path and of course now I am fascinated to see where it leads.

One more week till the finale I can't wait!!

On chin ups and names

$

I'd just to point out that this here what Jared Sam is doing?

Is really, really, REALLY hard and is the epitome of ULTIMATE STRENGTH EXERCISES!! Since joining a gym nearly two months ago I have been roughly 20 times.
All 20 times I have witnessed people (mostly guys) use the chin up machine. A total of THREE have ever used this machine UNASSISTED. As in not using the kneel pad to help. I have a new found respect for anyone who can do proper chin ups. My dad can get about 8 reps in, it took him like 6 sessions to get there unassisted and even now after 8 weeks he's complaining that he still feels it the next day whenever he does them.

I have decided a goal for 2012 is to be able to complete an unassisted chin up. Why? Because Sam Winchester does them. That is all the reason I need. Motivation...I haz it.

In other news we all have six names...did you know?
1. your real name: Simone

2. your detective name (favorite color and favorite animal): Blue Wolf

3. your soap opera name (middle name and street you live on): Bupkis Sandringham (why Bupkis? Cos I don't actually have a middle name)

4. your star wars name (first three letters of last name, first two of middle name, first two of first, last three of last): Tolbusirst

5. superhero name (color of your shirt, first item to your immediate left): Red Doona

6. goth name (black and one of your pets): Black Savvy

Well apart from the difficult pronunciation of my star wars name I am all perfectly good with those. What are yours?

Spryte the little star...and other observations about Merlin and a possible girl crush

Totally RANDOM subject line I know but still appropriate for the seeming randomness of this post...

This weekend saw myself competing and trying out for the Australian World Agility Open Championships team. The WAO as it is called is to be held in Belgium next May at the Equestrian Centre De Warre nestled in Hoge Kempen National Park. I ran three dogs in the tryouts and we had seven events so that's 21 runs over the course of the weekend. I loved every second of our runs...in fact have some on video somewhere which I may upload at some point. The good news is that I successfully qualified myself and have been selected to represent Australia next year. There was much of this --->  \o/ \o/ \o/. Spryte won 5 out of 7 rounds and did not put a paw wrong - and when we did have a couple of paws wrong it was totally my fault, she was a star :)

So I am off to Belgium next year - madly helping the team fundraise as you can imagine it's quite costly to send a group of 8 to Belgium and that's without dogs! We shall be provided dogs to run by generous people over in Europe so there's also that to scope out. My brilliant Border Collie from last year - named Noonoo - has got herself on the Wales team already so sadly she is not available to me. Never mind there are plenty of good dogs out there to choose from! Here's a link if you're curious:
www.worldagilityopen.com

Onto other matters....and I suppose this could be classified as a spoiler for the Merlin episode 5.11 Sword in the Stone Part 1 but really I just want to make a comment on Arthur's Simpleton attire and ask if I was the only pervert who noticed that his attire was particularly snug, especially round the nether regions? I don't know, maybe it's just my dirty mind but let me just say that there was little left to the imagination and that Bradley James has NOTHING to complain about re...ahem *cough* that anatomical department.
I'm sure someone in the Merlin fandom has already capped the hell out of those particular scenes. On another note call me grumpy when this episode ended...I wanted MOAR!!!!

Also if I hadn't been running I would have tweeted this (I dare anyone to text a tweet and run on a treadmill at the same time at around 10kph - I wanna see that for the amusement factor alone) but lo and behold I jump on the treadmill at the gym this morning and what do you know there's Mrs Genevieve Padalecki on my screen on Channel 9 as they are screening Wildfire. That girl was and is quite adorable I must say, now obviously she's growing as an actress and definitely perfecting her art but I can absolutely see what Jared finds attractive about her. She's tiny but sturdy and definitely strong and she looks damn fine on a horse wearing a cowgirl hat. All the motivation I needed to keep running really so the timing was perfect :)
She's hot and you should all just admit it, look at this:

So I have sent my Christmas cards and packages off - hope they all get to their destinations safe and sound. I believe I have only a few items left to grab for the actual big day and lo! (Yes I am aware of my overuse of that word "lo" but I like it right now) My week is filled with many wonderful events - seeing my sister tomorrow for the first time since June as she comes over to marathon with me along with a friend who is a fellow teacher AND lead singer in a great band we're doing the the whole 10 episodes of Season 7 Supernatural. Starting at 9am - WICKED!!! Wednesday shall be gym day and cleaning day and messing around on the internets day (just like today really) Thursday I have another GREAT bunch of people coming over to watch the last five episodes of Season 7 - [info]ash48, [info]zebra363 plus a couple of work friends who might not be quite as passionate but are definitely wanting to get caught up on the show. Friday is spending a half day with Mum (she doesn't know it yet - but I'm taking her into her bank and paying off my parents mortgage for her....good christmas pressie right?) and then the other half of Friday making sure we have everything ready for the Bunning's Sausage Sizzle fundraiser all day on Saturday plus have the pantry stocked with all the necessary foods for an excellent German Christmas feast on Christmas Eve.

Can you feel the festive spirit of endless Christmas cheer and optimism in this post? You can can't you? I just knew it. Here endeth random post of possibly slightly sickening positivity and exuberance. And no I have not been drinking the Kool Aid....but Pepsi Max currently rules.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!! And if you don't celebrate it then - happy holiday to you! :)

This is a post of gratuitous squee...I've been spoilt big time this year. And I just had to post about it....and Christmas is not even over yet. Off to in laws farm tomorrow for more celebrations!

So the biggest pressie I got was this...

Well not J2 literally per se...but my most awesome sister, who lives and works in Singapore but is back in Perth for Christmas
went online and has gifted me with a Gold Package ticket to the Dallas Supernatural Convention September 2012! She is on holidays then and will fly in from Singapore...I'll already be in the US then so I'm thinking September can be Texas month! Holy crap! Seeing the boys in their home state, it's going to be brilliant!

She got me that and a new ipad cover...

And made me my new Supernatural Calendar for 2012. I've kept all her calendars she's made me over the years.

Mr Redteekal gave me this:

and this:

And also this:

Eye fi is brilliant - what it does is when you put the card in your digital camera (ie my Nikon 5100 or the little Canon Powershot) and you take photos it wirelessly pushes your photos automatically to your ipad or laptop without any need for hard transfer! Technology I loves you!

Got me some new Jeanswest Jeans, a tee shirt, a one hour work out session with a personal trainer, books on Great Drive Trips USA and Steve Jobs, Bodyshop vouchers, Itunes vouchers, leather travel wallet, travel journal, a new 16gb card for my HTC phone and a very comprehensive USA roadmap which is going to be my visual planner for my trip next year.

Watched so far this Christmas:
Dexter Finale OMG!!!!!!!
Between Tuesday and Saturday - Season 7 episodes 1 - 10 (three times - on Tuesday, on Thursday and on Saturday)
A Very Supernatural Christmas - watched that one twice. I LOVES it soooooo so much.
A Charlie Brown Christmas (first time ever)
Scrubs - 1.11 My Personal Jesus and a season 4 episode called My Best Moment in Medicine
Modern Family - Express Christmas
Raising Hope
and the finale of American Horror Story.

Movies I wanna see:
We Bought A Zoo
Ghost Protocol
New Year's Eve
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Warhorse

I'm gonna save the Merlin finale for later....off to farm tomorrow!

[info]zebra363 did this 2011 Year in Review meme thingy. I liked it. So I stole it. I wanted to also take this opportunity to say thanks to my flist. And to wish you all a very happy New Year - if your 2011 was not good enough to remember fondly then make sure you see the year's end with a suitably high percentage of alcohol content in your drink. I wanted to say thanks to the new friends who have added me, to the new friends I have met and to the old ones who have continued to enrich my life.

Looking forward to watching these badass sexy mofos in a new episode next weekend :)

ETA: New Loki vid linked below - just so Awwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!

1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?

I ran a dog in a World Agility event in Clevedon, Bristol, UK! Met Jared and Jensen. Saw a real live Canadian Ice Hockey game. Saw Matt Nathanson in concert and met him. Saw a Broadway musical. Ran on a treadmill for 15 minutes non stop. Lost 23 kilos.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I didn't make any new years resolutions - I find the very nature of them to have built in obsolescence so I prefer to make life style changing decisions on no particular date. I did make a decision to lose weight and get fit and drink more water. Achieved and still ongoing.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Nope

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Not this year thankfully.

5. What countries did you visit?

England, Wales, United States, Canada

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?

Better abdominal muscles and better financial organisation and less clutter. More training discipline. I need to rehome things I don't need or want. I started doing that and I need to keep going.

7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory?

May 13 through to 15 was the World Agility Open in the UK. That was pretty etched as was the date for the Season 7 premiere of Supernatural oh and the Toronto Con weekend date.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Losing 23 kilos and going down 4 clothing sizes. Making and keeping a commitment to go to the gym. It's been two months so far :)

9. What was your biggest failure?

Failing to make myself clear in an email. Sounds innocuous I know but trust me, this failure has cost me big time.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Nope, apart from slight calf muscle tear.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Ummm this one is HARD! I partially purchased my birthday iPad2 and I LOVE it...but I'm thinking my Jared Padalecki wall canvas bought at charity auction at Torcon.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Oh plenty of peoples'. I liked Obama's stance on the DADT issue. I definitely applauded when a Labor Party conference overwhelmingly supported an in conscience vote to support same sex marriage. I liked it when Murdoch got shown up to be the insidious character he is.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Several peoples'. Lately the woman who threw a puppy out of a window 15 feet off the ground is one. Generally any animal cruelty acts will elicit those reactions from me. Along with people who kill/harm/torture others especially in the name of religion.

14. Where did most of your money go?

On travel this year.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

The World Agility Open! and Supernatural and New York and Toronto and meeting Jared and Jensen and fellow fangirls.

16. What song will always remind you of 2011?

Any of Adele's big hits and now Coldplay's Paradise.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? About the same, I tend to be a pretty happy person most of the time. Life is way too short not to be.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner :)
iii. richer or poorer? About the same, maybe a little richer thanks to an inheritance.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Walking and training the dogs, more running, more sorting. Talking with [info]netlynn.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Procrastinating maybe? Perhaps being stuck in unproductive meetings with adults who should behave better.

20. How did you spend Christmas?

With family enjoying German Christmas meal on Christmas Eve and with my family on Christmas Day.

21. Who did you meet for the first time?

[info]zebra363 and my agility idol Linda Mecklenberg and some of the Supernatural cast and fannish friends from Toronto, NYC and Nunavut, Canada. Plus my host dog's family in Wales and other fellow agility addicts.

22. Did you fall in love in 2011?

Yes, with NYC, Canada and Canadians and Matt Nathanson's new album and with Season 7 and with travel. Shopping in America.

23. How many one-night stands?

Zero.

24. What was your favourite TV program?

Supernatural

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

Nah - that's just way too much energy although I will allow that I have worked up to some intense dislike for some. These moments are fleeting.

26. What was the best book you read?

Biff - The Gospel According to Biff - Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore - haven't laughed this much reading a book since Gerald Durrell's My Family and Other Animals.

26a. Favourite fanfiction story?

Holy crap! How do you choose? I'm coming back to this one. I loved all of [info]obstinatrix's stuff this year. And also anything [info]candle_beck or [info]fleshflutter does is amazing.

26b. Favourite vid?

Anything by [info]ash48  and by [info]secretlytodream ETA!!!! Like this one Loki just posted:

D'Awwwwwwwww!!!!!

26c. Favourite fan artwork?

Well I initially didn't have anything picked out but then[info]zebra363 answered this question and now I have one! Here: [info]tringic's very NSFW Sam/Dean "New Art".

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Oh my - there was a lot this year. Things that got repeated the most was Matt Nathanson's Modern Love album, Florence and the Machine - Lungs, Coldplay's latest, Adele - 21, Soundtrack to The Crimson Wing (a documentary on Flamingoes).

28. What did you want and get?

iPad2 :) To attend a Supernatural convention. To get fitter and lose weight. To compete at the WAO.

29. What did you want and not get?

To put an Agility Champion title on Spryte, that's definitely on the cards for next year. A Supernatural crossover with American Horror Story or Dexter. Organisation in my life's paperwork. Adults who should behave better.

30. What was your favourite film of the year?

Hmmmmm. You know what? The quality of TV was such this year as that I guess I don't  have a stand out one. The King's Speech was bloody brilliant. But so was True Grit.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I turned 37. And I had Daisy Peel (top US International Agility competitor/instructor) from the US staying with me, so I was walking, talking, living and breathing agility that weekend.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Hmmm....maybe losing more weight and getting that Agility Champion title.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?

A little different now that a wider range of clothes are available to me. But still generally the same. Non florally and not completely girly.

34. What kept you sane?

Chatting with [info]netlynn, hanging out with fangirls, meeting new fannish friends, Supernatural and it's brilliant, zany and wonderful fandom.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Jared Padalecki. I just can't even...that man is too good to be true. I need to grill Jensen and Genevieve about his annoying flaws because just speculating on them doesn't seem to lessen his shine at all. It's ridiculous.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

The idiotic back and forth about the legalisation of gay marriage. It's not a big enough issue to warrant this much debate time. It's a basic human right and the world will not end in a fiery apocalypse despite all rhetoric to the contrary.

37. Who did you miss?

My adopted Uncle David and my sister Nicole who is working in Singapore now.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011.

Always, always ALWAYS quadruple check your emails to make sure your meaning is clear. Use short sentences and be concise. Also that I seem to have a much more zen attitude to life's frustrations than people much older than me seem to possess and I should stop being surprised by that.

39. Something new that worked out really well for you during the year:

My youngest girl, Savvy who has turned 2. She is working out to be a fantastic agility dog (even quicker than her Mum) and a very lovable family member. She's also very photogenic. Teaching Supernatural to my 9th graders.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

Don't want to see another generation drop
I'd rather be a comma than a full stop

From Coldplay's most recent album effort - Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. It kind of sums up my whole teaching approach this year :)

40A. (My usual replacement question for 40) Most useful piece of advice or comment you received:
Hmmm. Caloric deficit ultimately more important than exercise when trying to fat burn.

that the entire Supernatural production circus is just a front. It is a front for the Fangirls Peoples Liberation of Every Kind of Outfit We Think Jensen Ackles Looks Smoking Hot In. Seriously. I'm not going to spoil anyone here but if you've seen the stills from 7.12 then you KNOW what I'm talking about. Also I did have the sneaking suspicion that somehow after all these years Jensen has managed to wrangle into his contract that he gets to portray all the dream characters he's had on his Dream Roles I Want to Play Before I Die Bucketlist.

Someone needs to do a collage - Dean Winchester's Many Costumes and include the lederhosen, the wild west gear, the fireman gear, the SWAT gear, the Dean Smith gear with suspenders, the medical scrubs, the doctor's outfit, the prison one piece, the priest, and the gym teacher. I'm sure there's more. I'm waiting for the suspected vengeful angry spirit haunting a Vegas drag queen show and Dean having to blend in back stage. Dean Winchester dressed as a woman - I find that whole idea delightfully racey and intriguing. Somehow I can see him getting royally pissed over a run in his sheer skin coloured pantyhose.

In other news two things... a while back I posted this image:

And didn't know how to credit - thanks to a message in my inbox I now do:

SECONDLY and most hilariously I must rec this blog. I don't normally rec blogs but this one is pretty damn funny and it will at least bring a smile to your dial if not outright snorting with laughter. This is the blog of Kim Rhodes who plays Sheriff Jody Miller on Supernatural - she was the one who inadvertantly helped Bobby figure out the Leviathans weakness - she's as cute as a button and very talented with the written word it would seem. She started it on January 2nd and so only has about 8 entries on there so far but I promise you they are frank, honest (her husband must be a saint) and often hilarious look at her views on life, family and her own flaws, I'm looking forward to meeting her at one of the cons.
